sherlock holmes - christmas day

i couldnt fathom the accuracy of the characters depicted in the movie. each part was played to perfection by the artists. i liked the sets. again faultless.
i didnt know that robert downey jr. could do so well as a lead. i liked him in ally mcbeal but thats a different image altogether. jude law is... HOTTT!!! i should not elaborate on it. when i heard that he was going to be the sidekick of robert downey, i admit i was apprehensive but my wise friends all recommended me to watch the movie. so i did and may i say that i enjoyed every second of it.
the plot, the mystery, the gadgets were great. the climax was the least expected one. the movie had retained the sense of Sir Arthur all along it. right till the last scene.
the director didnt lose the essence of holmes and watson nor did he lose his touch.
i liked the movie when i was never a big fan of sherlock holmes cases
