Guardians of the galaxy

My rating: 4 stars out of 5
Starring: Chris Patt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper

The movie follows five criminals in the universe who come together to serve a couple of common purposes of slaying Ronan and selling a mysterious orb in black market. They meet many difficulties on the way, like escaping from a high security prison, getting out alive from the lawless land where they meet their black market buyer, and of course, getting into Dark Aster (Ronan's ship). In the face of adversities, they form an unlikely bond and friendship and name themselves the Guardians Of The Galaxy.

The movie was incredible fun. There were many similarities between this movie and Star Wars (The names of the villains' ships being Dark Aster and Death Star, respectively). There was never a dull or drag moment. The direction was good, and effects even better. The make-up done on aliens was flawless. Everything was perfectly timed and kept the audience thoroughly entertained. That was what the movie was, entertaining. That's it. It lacked substance. The entire dialogue could be wrapped around two words, friends and family. Which was rather unnecessary and over-played theme. I can shoot a million bullets through the story line. But I won't do that as the movie was highly enjoyable.

Recommendation: Must watch on big screen with popcorn
